Reference example: The approximate load capacity for TRS-P6051FX suspended from the ceiling is 1.2 kgf (roughly half the horizontal load capacity of 2.5 kgf).

These products make use of the lever principle and therefore exhibit no change.

The accuracy will be the combination of straightness (which is the travel accuracy of the stage) and squareness (which is a vertical specification).

The upper/lower plates have a V-groove guide surface. Steel balls are used as the rolling elements, while magnets are used to attract the plates.

These products use grease. AFF grease (THK CO., LTD.) is used on VB stage.

These products contain resin (polycarbonate) and are therefore not suited for use in a vacuum.

This is installed to improve the planar accuracy of the table upper surface. Removing the spacer will cause the guide (dovetail) to open and may reduce both table upper surface accuracy and knob operation due to a structural issue with the product.

The permissible moment of TRS-612 has not been measured. The load of the moment will be greater if installed vertically, compared with the same product installed horizontally. There is no clamp mechanism, and it would be difficult to secure it sufficiently in place after moving, which could cause it to turn under an unbalanced load. We therefore recommend using a gear-type product (TRS-627 to TRS-147-2). Doing so will lessen the impact of the unbalanced load after positioning.

The size can be changed as a special order. However, simply changing the size will also reduce the inclination angle and feed pitch amount. Please confirm the specifications before doing so.

The product will no longer be covered under warranty if used in excess of the load capacity. Doing so could prevent the spring inside the fine movement clamp area from working.

It does indicate accuracy over the entire travel range.

Thin VB stages should always be installed horizontally. Thin VB stages have a simple structure with magnets on either side of the V-groove and balls. Vertical installation could open a gap between the V-groove and balls and result in failure if a load exceeding the magnetic force is applied due to an unbalanced load.

Adjustments are made based on the guide preload and movements of the stage, so please do not perform your own adjustments.

A worm gear with approximately 49 minutes (') per single rotation of the knob is used. Measurement to an accuracy of 5 minutes is possible using a vernier scale. However, it is possible for this product to move a slightly finer degree when feeding. There is no way to measure a travel amount less than 5 minutes, so this cannot be measured as sensitivity.

The travel amount when inclined is approximately slightly higher than ±5 mm.

Goniometer stages that also allow clamping are available for use as stages for knurling.

It cannot be used for applications in which it will be exposed to liquid.

The "load capacity" is defined as the uniform load that can be loaded onto the manual stage surface. Applying too large of an unbalanced load could cause severe abrasion of sliding parts and result in damage.

This can be handled as a special order.

There is a coil spring inside, which makes the product easily susceptible to external vibration. First, ensure each axis is clamped during use. This can be further improved by placing an anti-vibration table or similar device on the table to isolate the source of vibration.

We recommend using a tool in the clamp screw slot to tighten it.

It can be used while mounted on a wall. The permissible load will be roughly one third of the figure listed in the catalog. However, we recommend installing the load directly above the table to prevent unbalanced loads to the degree that is possible.

The hole in the table surface can be enlarged up to φ30 (additional work will be required).

As a general standard, a torque of 80 cN⋅m (M4) or 280 cN⋅m (M6) is required to secure a sample in place.

The depth is 8 mm (M4).

The scale can be reversed as a special order.

TLS-4042-CR1 is available, but there are differences in the positional relationship between the micrometer and the spring and table. Install so that the micrometer faces downward if using TLS-4042 installed vertically.

The 4-4.5 drilled 7.5 deep counterbores on the bottom surface of the product are used for securing it in place. Screws are included for installation.

This can be handled as a special order. There is no model number for this. When ordering, please indicate "reversed structure" under additional instructions.

The load capacity is 3 kg, so using it in this way would not cause the stage to become misaligned.

Both the pilot hole and screw pass through.

Coarse movement clamping on a rotary stage uses a structure in which the rotary table with bearing is secured at the M3 screw point, and the mechanism is susceptible to strong centrifugal forces applied from outside the rotary table surface.

Perform rough positioning using coarse movement, and then perform coarse movement clamping. Next, use the micrometer to perform fine adjustment, and then perform fine movement clamping. A degree of force will be applied to the table surface if fine movement clamping is not performed, which will cause the stage to move.

We offer TLV-112, which is a standard product capable of moving a maximum of 100 mm (±50 mm).

This can be rotated by loosening the hex socket screw and nut on the micrometer platform. Be careful when doing so, as the table surface is pulled by a spring.

Flipping the Z bracket 180° would have no effect on accuracy. You would then want to refer to the "verticality" and "verticality of motion" specifications.

There is a φ20 hole in the base side that can be used as a transmission hole.

The load capacity when ceiling-suspended would be roughly half the permissible load listed in the catalog, based on the structure. However, this is not a guaranteed value.

The table surface is made from brass, so a magnet cannot be attached. A steel spacer would need to be prepared separately.

The table and dovetail groove area are made from an aluminum alloy. The knob is made from ABS resin. The pinion area is made from free-cutting steel and is therefore magnetic. Other materials include brass, stainless steel, and nickel screws.

The tightening torque will be 0.63 N⋅m when calculated based on the screw size (M3) used for the clamp. This product uses a gear-type (high-torque) drive mechanism, so the movement knob can be turned easily even when clamped. Be sure not to touch the knob after positioning.

The mechanism uses a magnet to link the base area with the table area. It can therefore be separated simply by applying force. A 20 mm x 5 mm x 2 mm neodymium magnet is used. Although we do not measure magnetic flux density, we can provide some reference values. The residual magnetic flux density is from 1000 mT to 1400 mT, while magnetic flux density is from 98 mT to 140 mT at the bottom surface (distance of 1.9 mm) and from 48 mT to 70 mT at the table surface (distance of 4 mm).

An accuracy tolerance has not been set for the scale (main scale/vernier scale). There would likely be an allowable error of around ±0.1° (general tolerance) per single gradation for either a main scale or vernier scale.
