 The cross-roller rings that THK has developed to this point are utilized in many industrial machines because they are able to handle loads from various directions. The field of machine tools is one place where cross-roller rings are used that has recently seen increased demand for compound processing equipment with five or more axes that can do everything from cutting to lathing all in one machine. Such machines require table bearings with high rigidity and high-speed performance.

 The Model RT is a high-speed roller ring that provides high-speed rotary performance through the use of a three-row roller contact structure suited to high-speed rotation. By suppressing heat generation during high-speed rotation, it achieves a Dpw·N value of 300,000, which is three to five times that of existing products. Additionally, the inner and outer rings feature mounting holes that make it possible to secure the product directly onto a shaft or housing, which reduces the number of peripheral components required for product installation.
 Our four-model product lineup contributes to shortened cycle times by providing faster rotation for rotary tables in machining centers, compound processing machines, 5-axis machines, and more.
