LM Guide SPH with Caged Ball for Ultra-low Waving in Running Characteristics

With the new SPH series THK offers a newly developed eight-row linear guide with Caged Ball that offers ultra-low waving during linear movements with standard dimensions compliant with the ISO standard.

With commercially available linear guides the guide carriage is loaded unevenly due to the changing number of load-bearing balls when exiting and entering the load zone, so that it deflects differently and results in a high degree of waviness during linear movements. In comparison the type SPH realizes ultra-low waving through its specific eight-groove design, making it suitable for applications where linear motion accuracy in the nanometer range is required.

The LM Guide SPH is available in the standard sizes 25 - 45 with guide carriages in standard length and with extra length for higher load capacities. In addition this type with its eight running rows offers ISO-compliant dimensions and is therefore interchangeable with other linear guides.
