Interesting new releases at JIMTOF
THK will be exhibiting for six days starting November 8 at JIMTOF 2022 in Tokyo, where the show will be held face-to-face for the first time in four years. The company will take this opportunity to expand the range of linear guides and ball screws to meet the diverse needs of the market.
Ball screw Model SDA-V
The SDA-V precision ball screw is currently available in 107 shaft diameter-lead combinations consisting of shaft diameters of 10 - 50 mm and pitches of 4 to 50 mm. Nut dimensions are in accordance with ISO/DIN/JIS standards. It is designed for high-speed operation. With the maximum speed of 5,000 min-1 and the 30% smaller outer diameter compared to conventional types, this ball screw meets the market requirements for high-speed and compact machines and equipment.
The new sizes include shaft diameters of 20, 32, 38 and 40 mm and pitches of 6, 8 and 15 mm. We quickly standardize the product range expansion requested by our customers to meet a variety of needs.

LM Guide / Linear guide Model HDR
A characteristic of the LM Guide HDR is the high rigidity in the MC direction, which is achieved by the DB structure of the four ball grooves. Thus, this LM Guide can absorb a large moment load in the rolling direction with only a single rail. At the same time, this type can be used in all mounting positions - horizontal, vertical, wall or overhead mounting. The main dimensions correspond to the ISO standard accepted worldwide.
In response to multiple customer requests, the HDR series has been supplemented with lighter blocks. Due to the shorter length of these blocks, longer strokes can also be covered.

Expanding tool Model WPC-ST for quick mounting the plate covers
The expanding tool WPC-ST is a special tool that offers a revolutionary and simple method of installing the plate cover. The plate cover itself is mounted on the upper side of the rail to protect against foreign particles, so that no dirt particles can get into the block via the rail bores. Previously, the block had to be temporarily pulled off the rail in order to be able to mount the plate cover. With the WPC-ST expanding tool, this is no longer necessary.
This product is compatible with two types of linear guides: LM Guide HDR (all sizes 15 to 65) and roller guide SRG (25 to 65). Both plate covers from the roll and plate covers in a set with the linear guides are available.
