 THK is now accepting orders for the Rapid-Acceleration and Low-Sliding Resistance Miniature LM Guide (Model AHR).

 This miniature LM Guide demonstrates rapid-acceleration performance that helps boost semiconductor chip production capacity. This model possesses both the durability and the low sliding resistance of the miniature LM Guide during high-speed and rapid-acceleration operations. Additionally, its mounting dimensions make it interchangeable with existing miniature LM Guide products that adopt a two-row Gothic-arch groove structure.

 The newly developed ball circulation component achieves a maximum speed of 5 m/s and a maximum acceleration of 300 m/s2, making it ideal for meeting the demand for increased productivity from semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This model is particularly optimized for use in semiconductor post-processing equipment such as die bonders and test handlers, where high production performance is required, in addition to use as the spindle guide in chip mounters.
