Expanded Lineup of Super-Heavy Load LM Guide Model NR-X/NRS-X for Machine Tools: 24 Super-Long Block Model Types Added

THK is adding super-long block type models to its lineup of the super-heavy load LM Guide Model NR-X/NRS-X for machine tools.

Super-long block type Model NR-X/NRS-X

The Model NR-X/NRS-X is a super-heavy load type Full-Ball guide that meets the standards for high rigidity, vibration and impact resistance, and damping capacity required for machine tools. Owing to THK’s prized deep-groove raceway machining technology, the curvature of its raceways is matched to the ball diameter, increasing the ball contact area and making the LM Guide capable of receiving a super-heavy load. THK has developed two models so far, the radial type Model NR-X and the 4-way type Model NRS-X.

Now, by adding super-long type LM blocks, the number of load-bearing balls has been increased, resulting in LM Guide models with the highest load rating, highest rigidity, and lowest waving of any existing Full-Ball guide. With the addition of 24 super-long block models to the existing standard and long block models, we are expanding our customers’ options and our ability to respond to a variety of needs.

THK will continue to contribute to the performance of a wide range of equipment, from general industrial machinery to precision machinery and large high-precision machine tools.
